This ceramic super stone is an aluminum oxide finishing stone. It is used for fine detail polishing and is slightly softer than the AM-8 stone manufactured by Boride.
Extremely strong and thin for tight ribs and slots. Excellent stone for hardened blades and EDM (electrical discharge machining) removal.
Perfect for polishing knives, cutting blades, machining marks and scratches
- Grit: 600
- Size: 1/4″ x 1″ x 6″
- Softer than the AM-8 offering faster breakdown and the ability to conform to the shape of the tool being polished
- Best used for hand polishing with one of a hand holder but can also be used in reciprocating profilers
- Can be used with or without a lubricant
