Nock Cortex CBF 496 Salmon Skinning Machine

The Nock Cortex CBF 496 Salmon Skinning Machine represents a groundbreaking advancement in salmon processing, utilising cutting-edge CF Technology for optimal efficiency. Designed for both fresh and smoked salmon, this automatic skinner features the innovative NOCK ACTIVE SKIN GRIPPER® ASG, a revolutionary blade holder technology that allows for the thin skinning of salmon fillets with a sharp blade.

This technology maximises yield and eliminates silver skin simultaneously, ensuring reliable and complete skinning of the fillets. With no remaining skin on the fishtail or at the sides, the need for control and re-working measures is significantly reduced. Additionally, the loss of fish flesh is comparably low; only about 0.5% remains on the skin, resulting in nearly 100% yield of the fish flesh.

Description

To enhance its functionality, the Nock Cortex is equipped with an economical water cleaning unit that guarantees continuous and reliable performance. Notably, this unit can be bypassed when skinning smoked fish, highlighting the machine’s versatility. The Nock Cortex CBF 496 offers three skinning methods: deep skinning with a sharp blade for thorough removal, thin skinning tailored for delicate fillets, and silver skinning with a blunt blade for a gentler approach. Its unique scraper comb fits seamlessly into the grooves of the tooth roller, ensuring effective cleaning throughout the operation.
