The Nock Cortex CBF 496/7 Salmon Twin Skinning Machine is an automatic two-line fish skinner designed specifically for efficient salmon skinning using cutting-edge CF technology. With a cutting width of 2 x 300 mm and an impressive cutting speed of 31 m/min, this machine offers three skinning methods: deep skinning with a sharp blade, thin skinning (also known as shallow skinning) with a sharp blade, and pulling off the skin with a blunt blade for effective silver skinning.
It is optimised for both fresh and smoked salmon, featuring a state-of-the-art infeed and discharge conveyor, along with a double lane feeding system that includes two separate blade holders and pressure units.
The Nock Cortex Machine is engineered for reliability and ease of use, equipped with innovative features such as the NOCK ACTIVE SKIN GRIPPER® (ASG) for precise thin skinning without leaving any skin on the fish tail. The blade gaps are independently adjustable for perfect results, while pneumatically suspended blade holders ensure optimal skinning performance. Additional features, such as a water cleaning unit, promote continuous operation, and the NOCK POWER PLATES design allows for easy cleaning and maintenance. Safety is a priority, with a NOCK EASY-FLOW® safety cover for enhanced hygiene and a protective cover at the outlet. Constructed from stainless steel with robust bearings, this machine is built to last, making it an essential addition to any fish processing operation.
